Testing build #160
« on: December 03, 2007, 05:06:28 AM »
Since i know someone will ask: numbers #150-159 has been reserved for 2.2 bugfixing versions (because i had to publish an unexpected bugfix for 2.2).
All future 2.3 betas will be #160 and over.

download @ www.dovedove.it/hfs/hfs160.exe

what's new
+ "dynamic dns updater" automatically disables "find external address on startup" because they are incompatible.
+ new template macros: switch, repeat, upper, lower, trim, cut, length, match, match address, random, is substring
+ (expert mode) Menu -> Limits -> "Stop spiders" www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=3097
+ proportional files/log size www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5310
* %item-comment% is available also in [file] [folder] [link]
* blank spaces in search are translated to * www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5288
- blank space in url parameters was not correctly handled
- %item-folder% was empty when it shouldn't be www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5294
- files with local characters were not sorted correctly www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5288
- possible fix for losing dyndns address on restart www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5216
- possible fix for blank connections www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5238
- fix for %item-full-url% on links
- recursive symbols or macros led to crash www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5281
- sometimes importing an UTF-8 template resulted in an empty text www.rejetto.com/forum/?topic=5306
- forged uploads were able to upload outside the assigned folder
- self test sometimes wasted time trying on local IPs
- tpl editor: when searching with the cursor placed at the very beginning, nothing is found

ATM any option that is supported by previous versions is lost when you use a previous version.
This will be solved in the future.
In the while you'd better backup your settings ;)

Same here. Updater was saying latest is #160 but it was offering me to download #150 - I accepted it and it downloaded #150, then I ran Updater again which was saying again that #160 is the latest and was offering me to download #150, but this time it downloaded #160.

Thanks :)

Users interested in 'the flash thing' perhaps would like to look at http://camstudio.org/, this freeware thing creates avi and swf from screen, window or rectangle and works very good.
your computer has no brain - use your own !

While you was downloading the new beta, the server hosting the file had a problem, or something like that.

From next build it will try twice before showing such message.
