Nice! Thank you... :)

HTML & templates / Re: Limits to uploaded files by size?
« on: August 09, 2015, 07:34:58 AM »
You're welcome, Steve. And thank you for suggesting this new feature. :)

I'm glad you solved the problem! :)
Greetings......

Well, I guess you use Windows 7 or 8.1, right?. If I'm not wrong, I've read somewhere here of someone with a similar problem, solved by placing and running the HFS Server, outside "Program Files" folder, or any other system generated folder. Try by placing the HFS.exe file in C:\MyServer\ (for example), and be sure to run it as administrator.

Thanks for posting your solution here, it may help some future user with the same problem.

Hi!, and welcome! :D

May be you should upload the script, or some code, screenshot, or something more, to be able to help you out. Did you get any error?...

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Single login
« on: August 06, 2015, 11:02:13 AM »
Did you tried something like this?...

Code: [Select]
<iframe src="http://username123:password456@hfs.mycompany.com:1234/"></iframe>
In this example, you have to have an HFS User called: "username123" with the Pass: "password456". I haven't tried it, but it should work fine.

The important part here is this code...
Code: [Select]
http://username123:password456@hfs.mycompany.com:1234/
Change "username123:password456" for your own "user:pass"

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: FILEZILLA W/HFS?
« on: August 05, 2015, 05:44:44 AM »
FileZilla is made to work with a FTP server, not a HTTP server. FileZilla will not work with HFS. You may use almost any Download Manager instead.

router & port problems / Re: I got stucked ... :(
« on: July 30, 2015, 06:11:01 AM »
Hi there,

What about using another port (instead of port 80)?
Did you try port 8080, o 8090 or any other port?...
(May be your system is already using your port 80)

Leo.

I did this search, and this another search, and I've found that FHFS may be your solution, according to this:

Improve: Uploader.js now specifies the max account size as the max file size also to prevent very large single-file uploads that can exceed the limit (uploader.js)

You may try the latest FHFS version (2.1.2), and find out how "Uploader.js" works. May be raybob can help you better than me. I currently don't have FHFS installed.
Good luck... ;)

Programmers corner / Re: HFS is awesome!

I second your comments, Valeriy. HFS is truly great. :)
(I'm sure Rejetto will appreciate your message too).
Feel free to report any problem (if you found any).

Greetings......
Leo.

...eventual hfs does load the picture: .net:192/~img_folder I think the "~" is a programming Break that is stopping hfs to going to the folder path to get icon for images...
The "~" is perfectly normal in HFS, even in the latest version.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: On - Off Script on website
« on: July 03, 2015, 08:03:33 PM »
Doing a Google search, I've found this...

Code: [Select]
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23997675/checking-if-web-server-is-online-offline
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/189430/detect-that-the-internet-connection-is-offline
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4282151/is-it-possible-to-ping-a-server-from-javascript/

IMHO, this seems to be the easiest solution:

Code: [Select]
<img src="http://your-hfs-server.com/online.png" alt="status" onerror="this.src='files/offline.png'" />

"The setup is: An online icon (online.png) on the remote server [the HFS Server] you want to see the status of. An offline icon (offline.png) on the server that is going to show the status page." [Source]

Let us know which solution worked, if any of them do please! ;)
Greetings...
Leo.-

@sittingduck: Just wondering, how about sharing your HFS Server address, so we can test it and see what's going on? (and try to help you). Thank you... :)
