HTML & templates / Re: Responsive small screen template

Yes, it's true. I'm glad you also found this error. I've already reported that "hfs.diff.tpl" doesn't work on root HERE, but I didn't get any reply about it. The normal behavior is that "hfs.diff.tpl" should work on root too. I hope Rejetto get attention to this.

looks like you guys may have already answered or solved it. ive foi d that if you dont bind folder to root.

so hfs main directory tree 8s set to a primary folder and dif tpl is i  that folder.

are both hfs using the same port?

on main pc make sure the port is set to 8080

on backup pc make sure it port os set to 80

id have you read through and double check your network settings

while i recommend upgrading to the stable version hfs

ive found these application memory errors to be hardware error.
event viewer would help diagnosis it further, but the latest versions will help.mogitagte the issue

Is it possible to add an option to block not just by IP but also to block by user agent in case it's identidied?
For example if I want users to be able to download from Chrome but not from Firefox ?

only thing o can think of 9s a hyml web redirect.

2-3 problems

1 you can use html/jQuery to find what browser has connect to your server:

Code: [Select]
   // Safari CSS and Webkit Google Chrome
if ($.browser.webkit) {
   $("#element").css('top', '2px');
} else if ( $.browser.safari ) //not fully supported on 1.7 jQuery {
   $("#element").css('top', '2px');
// Opera CSS
} else if ( $.browser.opera ) {
   $("#element").css('top', '2px');
// Internet Explorer CSS
} else if ( $.browser.msie ) {
   $("#element").css('top', '2px');
// Mozilla FireFox CSS
} else if ( $.browser.mozilla ) {
   $("#element").css('top', '2px');
// Normal Revert, careful and note your the use of !important
} else {
   $("#element").css('top', '2px');
   // You can have normal JavaScript between these too

the above will edit css based on browser

2, last i checked the latest chrome usses Firefox web agent, so theres no guarantee for that browser

3  hfs built in block level is at the protcal level not html browser level

html code

ex to stop ie from html visit

Thanks.  But, there's no sound.  What form of clickable link allows the end user to achieve playback?

It immediately caused 5 Gigabytes of traffic, but it didn't play any of them.

Need to avoid downloads unless the play button is clicked.
After the play button is clicked then it would be nice to download/play one at a time (not all at once).

that sounds like a mime type issue
is the mime type defined and is it set to open directly in browser?

I wonder if this is possible:  An icon to shuffle play all mp3's in the current folder?
That's an awesome old-school feature that has been lost over time.

we have to generate the m3u file via script pulled from macro item-modifed.

somehow we would have to tell a flash player or other html video player the contents of a file folder via URL.

mby look into jplayer

??? what casued this was a additon of code that no longer alows for that code to run. we would need you template or html code to further diagnose

Bug reports / Re: HFS not able to start.

unfortuanlely this is a windows build beta issue adn only a windows option atm is the fix. as reported form are from poster user, he was able to geta workaround via turning off the win 10 betat utf-8

Control panel > region settin > administrative tab > admin systeym chage for non -unicode > unchek box if check.
see picture

Apologies for the post on a older thread. I had this issue.
A working fix (on Windows 10 1809) was to disable the "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" in Windows Region Settings.
(found under Region -> Administrative tab -> Language for non-Unicode programs -> Change system locale... -> Checkbox - Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support)

Bin files are exe zips and a mime type needs to be defined 8n hfs for the file to download.

Found in the hfs menu:

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: hfs as a web server?

I would double check the mime type

If a av quartines it you can usualy restore the file.

I belive the mimetype became corrupted.
Id recommend a full redownload and restar from hfs.

is it posible to html code in hfs yes, i'm not familura with duo nor its web api.

from what i see:

First Steps
Before starting:

Sign up for a Duo account.
Log in to the Duo Admin Panel and navigate to Applications.
Click Protect an Application and locate Web SDK in the applications list. Click Protect this Application to get your integration key, secret key, and API hostname. (See Getting Started for help.)
Download and install a supported client library (Python, Ruby, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Node.js, ColdFusion, Perl).
Use NTP to ensure that your server's time is correct.

you need to download and setup a client libary. (id recomend java)
and use the iframe souce form the document

The problem, HFS at the moment doen't support php, not is ther a predeveloped webcode form there site for hfs to intergrate. you wil lahve to manualy code or contact them for html coding support to intergrate it into hfs.

so yes this can be macro coded. My curent working theory on the mater. as i don't have time to test and cod such a thing...

you will have to have Your iot device send the data via htmp Fake php strings... add url secondary data via a ? and post url red write data via & ...

This is why i also sent you to a working post method
i sent you leo simple contact template as that has the codes you will need to modify for the macro code/hfs side to accept the url string.

Hfs base line:
You will have to create a vitural folder in HFS

You will have to code a Macro script form

You wil lhave to setup the iot to talk to the vitural folder sending a url full string example:
(Pulled form a sucessful post of the url data sent to hfs via macro write - with is wht you would use to post upload)

you will send the requested data via example: /Contact/?name=Brandon+Martino&

so your sending data via the field on your virtual folder script.

decoding the example log and breakdown via url sending(the ### would be the data the iot device is sending...)

THis would be example of what your iot device making the request might look like

IOT would send something like this via your previos post

HFS setup:

the viturl folder can use a macro to take the field

and creat a realfolder via macro script
mkdir | A
creates the specified folder. URI is supported in A, but it must refer a real folder.

then uplaod the cvs file to hfs:

Code: [Select]
you could even skip some field formt eh form for the date.

this is the best i can do for yo on short notice

How are you uiplading the file to HFS???

Are you going to hfs web page folder and clicking the uplaod button?

IF not, there is your problems.

Other wise we have to edit and chage some scritps to faciualt your needs by goin to a webpage selecting the file and uploading the data via a pst request:
*simple contact template has some solution for you to pull the code and re write.

you have to have these folder path in order to uplad adn the first - last folder having upload permision:

add a real folder to HFS > Righte mouse click > Protperties > permision tab > Upload tab > (set anyone for open folder to the web for upload.

7:42:21 AM Requested GET /Upload/
7:42:21 AM Requested GET /?mode=jquery
7:42:24 AM Requested GET /Upload/
7:42:24 AM Requested GET /?mode=jquery
7:42:44 AM Uploading lock pc.bat
7:42:44 AM Fully uploaded lock pc.bat - 40 @ 7.8 KB/s
7:42:44 AM Requested POST /Upload/
7:42:59 AM Requested GET /Upload/
7:42:59 AM Requested GET /?mode=jquery

see picture for result on client side to upload...

then you will need to bind hfs to the root folder. if its a real folder it should be updateing and searching that folder automaticaly.

For witch one? I put this project aside I could fox the various bugs here and there...

Macro-Method = Using Form + Macros (without needing upload permissions)
XML-Method = Using XMLHttpRequest (needs upload permissions to anyone)
EML-Email = Same as XML-Method, but it saves in .eml format instead of .txt

Either pull from the first post on here by leo or go to my post with detail and code change (adds validation).
