There are other ways to run HFS on Raspberry Pi.

I would like to know of any way to run HFS on a Raspberry Pi (Raspbian OS  based on Debian Jessie)?

Has anyone compiled it for Linux?

This was much faster BUT the menu button to to turn the box panel on/off does not work. I cannot see where this in in the code.

I tried replacing  "thumb/%item-url%" with "%item-icon%" or "" (line 4) and I found no difference.

Any other suggestions?

I tested with the default template and the program was MUCH faster for the smart phone/small screen.

When using mobile-light template (hfs.diff.tpl), the time to paginate and display the final screen was many times longer ( 250 secs vs 19 secs for default).

I do like the layout of mobile-light template on all screens and the ability to turn on and off the menu block.

What can be done to speed up this template?

I am using HFS 2.3h build 296 on a Windows 10 machine. I have one real folder with many file/folders. The top folder has about 990 files and there are about 20,000 files in folders/I am using the mobile-light template. When accessing the server via a web address on the same machine, the response is reasonably fast (say 4 seconds). On some other devices is can be very slow. On a smartphone (Motorola Razr M) it can take 4.5 minutes to paginate and display the final screen. The server CPU stays at about 20% the whole time.

What can I do to speed up the process?

Is the pagination done on the client browser, not on the server? If so can the pagination be done on the server or can I turn off pagination?

Any other suggestions welcome.

My bad.
In hfs Add a new real folder. In explorer Add the file hfs.diff.tpl to this folder.
Or If you wan't use in the root, select /, Properties, Diff template and copy the text of the hfs.diff.tpl to it.
Don't change template file.

rename mobil-ligh.tpl to hfs.diff.tpl and add it.

In mobil-light.zip the file is already  hfs.diff.tpl . If I select this file I get blank screen. If I chose hfs.tpl I get original layout

When switch to another template all works again.

I am looking for a template that is responsive to screen size. I have tried many of the available ones and found Live template  was responsive but I do not like the output.

Is there a template that gives the layout  like the default BUT I would prefer the layout of the default template but with the User, Folder,  Search, Select,  Actions and Server information dialogs located below the file list.

How do I do this??
