Hmm.
Try to use hands.vxd or shutdown &rq.exe before changing common.ini
last-server-ip=64.12.200.89 also functions OK.

The following steps may help to solve the problem for those who use proxy:
1. disconnect.
2. preferences -> connection: check OFF use proxy flag. apply settings.
3. try to connect (process will stop at 16%).
4. disconnect.
5. preferences -> connection: check ON use proxy flag. apply settings.
6. connect.

This algorithm helped me.

1. Ctrl-A (select all) doesn't function in chat window.
2. Menu-key (same to mouse right button) doesn't function in contact window.

Is it possible to add user's online/offline status in multiple send dialog?
It will be very helpful when contact list contains several "duplicated" nicks (old & new UINs for example) or message is actual only when user is online.

Besides, I've found one small bug - sometimes paste operation in chat window results with duplicated clipboard content. The problem persists in all versions starting from 0.9.4.6
