People say that now their server won't return online status for somebody who is not in your contact list on their server.

for a detailed explanation look here:

sad to say, but the lack of server side contact list support now finally makes &rq completely unusable. switching to miranda. it takes some time to configure all the plugins, but now it looks and acts like &rq does.

wieso, es gibt doch auch noch andere tolle Sprachen...

Since &RQ is no longer being developed, this thread is quite useless and should be closed.

&RQ / Project is Dead?

Hi Rejetto,
before doing a complete rewrite of &RQ, wouldn't it be possible if you
forget about implementing any new features and would just concentrate on fixing the most urgent bugs in ?

edit: just saw Electron's words, funny :D

I also have this problem and only with the latest test build of .17 .
It appeared no matter what contact i'd been talking to.
After downgrading to .16 it is completely gone.
So I strongly believe it is neither related to corrupted history nor to incorrect OS drivers.

&RQ / Sending authorization requests

Sure, that would be sufficient of course.  :D
Regarding the translation, just tell me when my help is maybe needed.

&RQ / bad news, people ;(

Well I can't say that Mirablis fully corrected this bug! If server disconnected you after using the exploit, it means that user is online but invisible to you!!! Otherwise nothing will happen, you'l see the message that user is really offline...

Can´t confirm this. The exploit has been removed, at last, as i would say  by now.
By the way, invisibility still can be detected in some cases with the "online since" feature.

&RQ / Sending authorization requests
« on: December 10, 2003, 11:21:01 AM »
i know that with &rq and some other clients it is not necessary to ask a contact for authorization.
However, some people using the original client are confused when they just get an "added you" from &rq and their authorization is bypassed.
Did i miss any option in &rq or could this feature be added please!
Besides, i plan to do a german translation for &rq.
On the main page there is a link to an older attempt, but it is dead.
Rejetto, could you please mail me this one?

&RQ / Wrong Client Info?
« on: July 01, 2003, 04:12:41 PM »
I noticed that the client identification has improved a lot for   :D
But it´s still a bit buggy. The first time i check the info it is reported correctly, but the second time and after that it becomes less specific ( i.e. Trillian or ICQLite turn to ICQ2000).

&RQ / will have the visibility exploit

Great work, Thx :)

Support of server-side contact lists would be great and is by far the most important feature i really miss in &RQ.

&RQ / 0947 Preview - Corrupt ZipFile

Hi, I just downloaded the new preview, but got the following message when I try to open it "Header Error in File". Can anyone confirm?

&RQ / &RQ <-> ICQ2Go problem
« on: February 03, 2003, 04:37:13 PM »
Thanks for fixing! Works properly now, but some other clients like ICQLite are now also reported to be ICQ2Go... just a cosmetic thing.
