Login time on the forum, explanation please?

Hey, I was curious about this when I open up the rejetto forums:

"Total time logged in: 1 days, 5 hours and 16 minutes."

I was wondering if it says that I have been online (ELEVENNNN is viewing this board, etc) the entire time my account has not been logged out, because I can go to other parts of my city and come on the forums and it still says 1 day or 5 days or whatever.  I did tell it to stay logged in forever.  I guess what im trying to say is you guys probably get the idea that I have absolute no life (if the behavior above is happening) WHEN in actuality.. i have very little of a life. theres a difference.

does anyone know if it just goes by you checking "always stay logged in" and if so why does it say only 1 day. (I havent cleared my history or cookies or temp files, and im always logged in, shouldnt it say 2 weeks bleh bleh)

I think its got to do with the amount of time you have actually been on the forum posting, viewing, etc.

So you think its saying I've had my browser open only like 30 hours.. sometimes i go to school and just leave the forums open, that doesnt seem possible unless it says if i'm idle then don't count this to my time logged in.  Rejetto, is Foggy right?

even though you leave your browser open, your user account is inactive on the server after about 15 mins so stops adding time online after that. I think...

those as www.simplemachines.org does.
i guess that, if that amount is totally crazy for you, it probably includes when you leave your browser open.
