Upload performance

I had the newest stable release and I am having issues with Upload speeds.
I am connected to a cable modem via a gigabyte network and card.
Speed test shows me a throughput of 51.15 Mbps down and  17.78 Mbps up.
Yet I am only getting 75-125 KB's of upload thru HFS.

I have no limits imposed in HFS.

Why can I not upload faster?

it's a known problem.
It was fixed in version 2.3,
then the fix was included in a special version of 2.2 you can find here

If you try version 2.3 backup your settings to file first, so that you can revert
