node is pure javascript plus
1) 2 or 3 notions
2) libraries

so a an heavy user (programmer) of javascript on the browser would understand most of it.

I can help refactor the code, not sure if got free time to do other things :P

what you mean to refactor? from HFS 2 ?

anyway, the project is already split in some parts

There are many things that must be done, and some are quite separated from the rest of the app.
I quickly made a stub of the list https://github.com/rejetto/hfs/wiki/Tasks
Also it's ok if you want to work on the browser side, or on the server-side.

I would start by running what has been published on github. :)

Can you move the actual files to the github downloads section because it's taking forever to copy and paste the code out of every file.
