Hi!

And i think autoload last vfs and autosave settings should be default options if they are not now.

TGeRi

PS: if u have a "clean" hfs. You satart is. Make the vritual file system of yours and exit i think nothing asks for you if you want to save this. It is ok if you save vfs the with autoload and autosave it will be ok but not for the first time. I hope everyone can understand my problem.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Hey!!!
« on: February 17, 2005, 04:54:35 PM »
when ur friends ip changes his program will try to resume the download. But if your ip changes too i think you will have to use a dynamic dns (like no-ip.com).

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / 2.0 coming...
« on: January 26, 2005, 06:50:53 PM »
Hi!

I think it would be nice if the ROOT folder could be REAL folder.

Example:
I have c:\stuff where are files i want to share. Now i have to
create a folder in hfs root and under that i see the files. It would
be nice if the files were in the root.

TGeRi

UI: by doing this it would be possible to upload to the root folder
too if allowed.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / an FTP server
« on: January 13, 2005, 05:18:18 PM »
I don't know any better place to ask this.

I love HFS. Do u know any _FTP_ server which is similar to HFS?
I know that HFS is a http server but i mean similar in:
- small size
- fast
- easy-to-use
- easy-to-config
- configurable
- best of its kind. :)

So?

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / HTTP vs FTP
« on: January 09, 2005, 12:16:47 PM »
Hi!

FTP is a different protocol. U connect to a HTTP server with a browser (for example IE) and u connect to an ftp server with a special client program
(for ex totalcommander or flashfxp).

The FTP protocol is only used to transfer files (File Transfer Protocol) so i u connect to an ftp u will see only files/folders and u can download then and u wont se a HTML page like in the case on a http server (for exp HFS).

TGeRi

PS: Hope i was clear, sorry for bad english.
PPS: in one word: http serves web pages ftp serves filet to u.
(well almost because http can serv files to u too)

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / upload filter

i think that is not too efficient because anyone can rename any file to .jpg and then he/she could upload is simply.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / How do I......
« on: January 04, 2005, 11:11:47 AM »
Rejetto: do u think it would be possible to limit a number of connections for concrate IPs?

I mean i would be possible to have 2 simultanious connections to
the server from one ip. This would solve the problem above.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Saving the file
« on: October 22, 2004, 08:09:34 PM »
Hi!

Ur problem is around MIME settings but i don't know much about that but i konow that u can usually save the files that are opened automatically
by selecting SAVE AS... on the link!
