In the short time its been there I have noticed a fair bit of spam.

I was going to say, for guests, allow one post every 5 minutes so people do make faces just for no reason, no ones going to wait 5 minutes just to post again, by then they'll be bored.

Unless I can set the shoutbox closed by default when coming to the site, I' m voting "members only"

I think only registred users should write to the shoutbox, because an open shoutbox incites to ask there before searching in the forum or to look at the wiki if their question has already an answer.

If users need to register, probably they look at 'read first' and see how to post. Especially  if they search for a topic before posting, it may help, even not ensure, that they post with a topic different to 'tell me', 'please tell me', need help'...

Guests should not be able to spam.

Altho i do like the shoutbox, there is one thing that bothers me:

Could you move the shoutbox below the topic lists? Cause its rather huge..

Members only, or maybe a captcha can be added for unlogged users? guests tend to spam.

It might not be a feature of the template but im sure we can work it out! lol

it will bee good if  "Login (Forgot your password?)" was  above the Shoutbox ,not below everything.

but i think need to be editbox where them write they nickname

and an editbot where guest put a random code giving by forum to confirm his message
 or/and
A guest could not write 2 messages in the continuation so much that another poster does not write a message (to avoid spams)
