Title: Bug in 2.2e #154 (tray icon)
Post by: aldares on November 22, 2008, 04:29:34 PM
Got auto-updated and found that tray icon doesn't show download percentage. It just stays at Zero.
OS - Win2003ent SP2, hfs starts like usual, not as a service.

right...
the same bug is applied to several progress indicators.
fixed now.
since it doesn't seem a crucial problem, i will wait few days before publishing an update.
this way i can collect eventual other improvements in a single release.

thank you for reporting!

Ok, then i'll ask about one more problem in this thread. Sometimes after system reboot/shutdown&boot-up hfs is loaded, but stays switched OFF. And i have to manually start it. Could it be a result of forced system reboot/shutdown? Or just some irregularity in hfs work?

when you talk of something different, it's better to post in a new topic.
anyway, HFS may eventually loose a recent setting and revert to the last saved one.
but this means in a previous starting it was switched OFF.

I will paint a different situation
you start it, and it's ON.
then you restart it, and it's ON.
then you restart it, and it's OFF.
this is abnormal, and shouldn't be.

but i'm talking about generic settings losing.
since your case is about ON/OFF, i call tell HFS can decide to switch OFF if the port is occupied by another program.
but this happens only if you set a specific port. If the port was not specified, HFS will always find an available port.
