Bug reports / Re: when i am uploading file, hfs is not responding
« on: May 31, 2014, 01:03:56 AM »
I would have you check the windows side permission on the folder you are sharing so you can guarantee you have read/write capabilities... (are you able to right click in the "z" mapped drive and create documents? if yes than permision should be fine, if no, see previous post) -- I don't think it is as you claim you have access rights...

Other wise the last option you could do is have a local folder such as "C:webroot\%hfs shared folder$"
and sycn that folder with you nas using programs or similar programs like Qsync or windows sync...

http://www.qnap.com/useng/index.php?sn=8976

so when a file is uploaded to ("C:webroot\%hfs shared folder$") it will auto sync to the mapped "Z" drive or your *\\%path to your nas%\hfs folder shared)

i don't think i will be able to help you any farther than this, good luck and have fun! :)

--------------
Rejjeto might have a fix for this as it sounds like a bug in the script for upload in which:

upload files fails to put/write to the unc shared path/directory...

FHFS / Re: Make different .tpl for admin and other users
« on: May 30, 2014, 04:38:57 AM »
sorry for all the type o, i have a bad keyboard....

i'm new to "fhfs"

I've just installed it and i believe i have found your issue, if not a more experienced use suchas the creator (the person who compibned filezilla (the ftp server side) and Rejetto hfs) together would be a better candidate to answer this.

you will ahve to go to a specfi website:

Your home page with its default template
http://127.0.0.1

click on the button "creat account"
(this is where your usr will got to create an account to access the files)

which i belive will creat acocunts in hfs based on the previos post to manula creat hfs account.

int he event you hvae edited hfs default template i ahve attached a txt file of the default code:
(see attachment)

I'm affraid that is all i will be able to help you with. Sorry, good luck :)

new user will appear above that (name that user)
to the right you can set a password if you desire to...

FHFS / Re: Make different .tpl for admin and other users

haven't tried, it depends on how you have your hfs website setup:
ie

(both can be real folder to the same path)
if your admins go to a path for
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\admins

and a link for your regular users:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\users

----------------where to go:----
than yes you can have 2 different templates
hfs windows > right mouse click on folder to change template > properties > "Different Template" tab in popup window > you tpl code...

*note:
(if you tpl code has necessary files then you will need to add them to hfs and chage permission flags)
hfs windows > right mouse click on folderdata added to hfs > properties > "flags" tab
check mark these boxes: (hidden /browseable / don't log)
--------------------------------------

you can accomplish this by right mouse clicking on the admins folder and go to different template
(the html code or rarw template file code can go here) when that path is web opened than it opens/loads the different template code entered there...

you do the same thing to your users folder except use the other template

*Note:
Down side, you have to different paths for "your users" to go to...
------------

Other wise you will have to edit/cut and paste code in both templates and combine the tpl codes together...
Good luck :)

then add the upload folder as a real folder to drive z:\

if you are still experiencing issues it is windows side permission and the folder on the nas needs to have read write permision to the folowing users and groups: (everyone / guest / AYNOMOUS LOGON / %your current user% / System / administrators / users )

http://www.wikihow.com/Change-File-Permissions-on-Windows-7

or (depending your nas server(what kind it is and how it is setup) you might need to change access right permissions: read/write on the NAS via the NAS configuration or by login into its web console

sounds like you need to map a network drive as a loacl user disk drive

----
cmd:
net use z: \\%path to your nas%\hfs folder shared
-----

other wise see this link depending on os:

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Internal IP address keeps changing
« on: May 30, 2014, 02:42:48 AM »
Your machnie that is runing hfs is geting a new ip address(eitehr by restrat or by other things. You need to set your machine running hfs to a static ip adress(see below) with on the windows side or the router side (with mac adress resveration {DHCP reservation})

Previous post:
http://www.rejetto.com/forum/rawr-designs/how-can-ad-website-in-hfs-server-and-how-can-upload-in-website/msg1059129/#msg1059129

Sounds like you need to setup some basic networking to get things running!

-----------------

you will need to double check 3 things to make it use able over the web:

1. Windows side: ( i will assume you are using windows 7 ) at least i will post info link to windows 7...(most likely useable for all windows side os...)

You might need to set the "hfs machine" to a static ip address (this way when you open ports or use web traffice it has a "definite path"

windwos comand prompt:
cmd > "ipconfig /all"(<=command) has all the network info you need:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-tcp-ip-settings#1TC=windows-7

ip address is the machine address
subnet depends on your network most likely "255.255.255.0"
gateway is your router's ip adress most likely "192.168.1.1" (in your case it is 192.168.0.1)

you will need to allow hfs thorugh your firewall
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/542-windows-firewall-add-remove-exception.html

2. Router/(intranet) network side
you router will need the port you chose in hfs (say you set the port to 8080 go to you router- in a web browser typ in the ip address of your gateway)

enable "port forward" to your machine and the router to the same port ie port (starting port) 8080 to port (ending port) 8080
http://www.wikihow.com/Set-Up-Port-Forwarding-on-a-Router

*note some router don't allow you to use your "public" ip address to view inside, so while your at home your webpage is accessible via the ip address you set to the machine earlier

(if your router supports it you can have it memorize you "hfs" machine "network address (known as a mac address) and assign it a specific ip address so it will always be "192.168.1.x" x being the number you set i chose 254 as it is the last number dhcp will use...

3. Internet/Modem side
go to http://www.ipchicken.com/
This is your public ip adress so when you are not at home you will go to this ip adress (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) what is shown at the website above one of many website that can tell you your public ip adress...

You should now have hfs viewable form the outside world via:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080
(xxx your public ip address)

Since modems can be dynamic ip adress you can opt to get a "dns name so instead of typing xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx you type a predefined word such as mywebsite.(frre public domain).org

DNS free domains names:
either by adding it into the router or have it client side, or even pre-setup in a dns online website..

I'm having good luck with http://freedns.afraid.org/ using mooo.com as my public domain...(website presetup)

I don't quite get your issue.

Is your issues tryig to uplad the 100MB file or downlaod it form hfs?

first, i would recomend you increas your "time out" to quarantee a descent conection as it might be timeing out due to too much time passing...
in hfs > menu > Limits > Conection inactivity timeout > (pop up box {default 60 seconds])
you would probaly want to put 3-5 minutes (just to try change 60 to 180) and try to uplad the file.

(I doubt it could be, but you mgiht not have enouth disk space) just to be sure double check you settings:
hfs >menu > limits > minuminum disk space  (this should be blank by default, but may need "1 MB" defining meaning that hfs won't take and except the file if your hd will be full and out of space....

Other wise, i would recomend you redownlaod HFS and put in it a new folder somewhere else and test that version witht he same thing that your previous hfs was unable to do (are there any changes/issue?)

Hope this helps :)

or possible the programing links??? are they the same?)

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: hfs and php/mysql

*Have fixed spelling and updated.. sorry for the inconvience

bmartino1, as i said you, you can use HFS scripting system to achieve what you want, you don't need to modify HFS itself, so you don't need to compile it.

You want to run commands to MySQL. Fine.
Create a software that reads from a file the query/command, and gives the output on the standard output.
Let's say this program is called "dbrun".
You can create this program with the language or tool you want.

Whenever you need to execute a command X in mysql from HFS you will just do this way

Thank you for this, i have considered that path, but in the long run or at least form the user side, having a scripted "rarw possible" template that would do this would be very easy to misinterpret commands settings and configs.. i was going to attempt a beta such as silent plz has done that would incorporate the resource files(programs that i have used and currently using) and with a few clicks change major setting such as login access to mysql, config files and port setting for data translation...

It would probably be easier but once i post the "sfx zip" or what i have/had is what would be hard to leave for me as my mysql... its more because of  the username and password would then become public causing security issues... among other things...

It was more of an idea/thought that i would liked to have seen and a way for me to dive into the code to see what is actual running and making "HFS" tick....(as you claim it is open source, but source code "as i'm not a Delphi programmer.." is a bit confusing...)

I'm actual working on a template to incorporate the previous rarw template command such as what raybob has done with fhfs...(Although i would have like to have it pre-built within hfs and programmed it to incorporated tabs and other setting....)

here is an example so far: at least the breakdown of what i'm testing and trying to build..
---example/testing with the hfs default template....---
{.exec|"%path%\prgram.exe and/or mysql dos batch or other service..."}
---

Still would like a link to the wiki if possible
(found link and is further in posts)

sounds link you need a portable app, try portable 7zip, it free, opensource and supports tar, rar and other zip formats...

http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable
http://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/7-Zip%20Portable/

I acutal use a script that has 3 files that can use comand line comands with 7zip to extract, archive etc....

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: hfs and php/mysql
« on: May 23, 2014, 04:04:10 PM »
* Post has been updated...

libs folder download:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9u5dgydfOEuZ213a1UxdmdlLWs/edit?usp=sharing

if it helps, i have attached the lib folder which contains all of the source codes and pascal files that i'm using to attempt to compile the lattest build source. as posted previous post with updates modification and others....

I'm experiencing issues compiling hfs source code.

( I have given up trying to program the source code )

by using the only known(atleast to me) seemingly free program provided by mars ( portable turbo delphi )...

--------
i'm at the point where i question if this is even worth it....
It would have been a nice jester ...
---

it has come to my attention that this is a waste of my time seeing that i'm have been posting multiple times with very little to no responses... on editing the source code
---------

Issues that i have run into would be:
Once the program is download, to set it up:

for security measures there would have to be a batch to change the passwords and add account info to mysql, and some type of notes on prope setup to open multipe ports and incorporation of a database viewing program....
---------

Which is what i have separate and alone....

so if any one has a "cure" for:
C:\Windows\System32\Turbo Delphi Portable\lib\JCL.INC(41) Fatal: F1026 File not found: '"C:\Windows\System32\Turbo.pas'

please let me known other wise i'm waiting on a different form to download a base project...:
http://www.codeforge.com/article/906
(which will never be available)

or going through the libs and fixing the jedi vlc pascal files...

Made this post to explain and vent my issues as i found the program to be pointless to use as a compiler if it is missing. needing a pascal script to compile...

Previous post on asking what code language it was, after looking i would say it is Delphi Objective C code mixed with other coding languages (i could be wrong but that what i could decode and follow...)
