today hfs crashed for me (260).
was at work when it happend so i restarted it remotly.
there was some error messages but i just clicked OK on them to get it resrarted as fast as possible.
i shud probebly saved the text in the error message but i dident.

but after that my filesystem.vfs was deleted.
so i had to restore that to.

but why do you think the filesystem.vfs was deleted???

hmm strange..
now it works with all versions.

yes the template folder is in the file system.

i can test it for 1 day/version and see what happends.
i can test with 250 , 254 , 256 , 259

i have some problem with templates.
i have to "change template" almost every day.
or else it wont load the page right and its white and missing other things.
this has been the same since 255 i think.
using RAWR Template 0.12

same thing happends when i restart HFS , same if i restart the computer.

when the "total hit counter" go over 1100000  (one miljon one hunderdthousen)
the counter resets to 900000
dont have the exact numbers but it happends there someware.
this happend twice for me now.

it's unlikely to be any threshold like that.
also because the lowest expected limit would be 2 billions.
i think you your problem problem it's more like: the new numbers were not saved, and on reloading old numbers were loaded, or similar.

strange , the server is never shut down.
lets see if it happends again.
its at 1092322 now

all i (or others) do is start downloading a file and then abort before its finished.
this tip worked so i cant show you any screenshots today.
i'll turn it off again and show you tomorrow.
i get this almost every day.

dont know if this is a bug , but its annoying.. 



this happends when someone downloads a file and abort during download.
or looking at a movie , mp3 file and stops before its finnished.

what kind of computer do you use as a server?
dualcore or 2 separate cpu's
harddrives??
cpu speed

for me hfs is very stable , it can run for weeks.
and i have 3-4000 hits/day
