Title: permission's
Post by: selkov on September 04, 2008, 09:46:23 PM
I would like to set up my sHare tree so that i have a password on the main Root directory allowing me access to ALL other shares while not having a password on the individual shares.

How do I do this?

right click on the root -> restrict access

I did that but then it also restricts access to all the sub folders in the tree.

that's not possible at the moment.
why you need it?
can't you just put the root stuff in a protected folder?
