What Is Difference Between TOTAL HITS or TOTAL DOWNLOADS ?

hits are all the requests made to the server.
only some hits are considered downloads.

If you use a modified template that has some or a lot of images, then a simple page request can boost the total hits counter by 20 easily.

%total-hits% Means Counting Total Hits..

2 + 4 + 6 = 12 ...... Right ?

But The command counting wrong . add this in ur website and  refresh ur  page ur hits incress 2 time 4 times.. automatcally...

If you think it is a page visit counter, you are being mislead. Although i have brought up this, a simple hit counter for page hits using HFS and cookies could work... maybe even just hfs... we have it working with php at our homepage.

But either way quit spamming the forum, maybe try posting in normal font, you'll come across much less annoying.

if it icrements by 2 each time, then every time there are 2 requests to the server.
just that.
this counter is useless for most people.
don't consider it.

hmmm But I Think .. Not Use TOTAL HITS Commands....... Use Only TOTAL DOWNLOADS command... its grt... wht u say ?
