It seems HFS checking IP every minute or something,
thats why i'm using another updater DynSite which detect connection and momentally updating DNS,
and it must be possible do that HFS can it, right?
also, successfully answer looks like "DNS update requested for 178.206.147.160: unknown reply: success",
it would be nice if "success" will become known reply :)
and: better to replace "DNS update requested" for "DNS updating", 'cause it's too long, but i'd like to see response :)

I've just downloaded 2.3b, here it checks IP every 10 minutes...
i want momentally because UPtime is important to me
-
you want it to check your ip faster?
or??
as long as your computer is turned on it wont change your ip.
once/day will do.
you shud check if you have a static or a dynamic ip.
if you have a static ip you dont need no-ip/dyndns.
-
thank you, but i'm not a noob.
ofc i have a dynamic ip, what for u think i'm using dns updater.. :)
and as u can see i sad about detecting connection which means it (reconnection) changing my ip.
i'm using custom dns-service

you want it to check your ip faster?
i wanna do it momentally after connection, as i perefectly understandable wrote :)

HFS 3 should have upnp support.
I think this will be possible with upnp.
-
Can you be sure?
what if will not?
-
i can be sure when i try.
At the moment i'm working on other features. (basic features, since i'm fully rewriting it)
in the worst case you can always use other softwares to update your IP

I've asked about what YOU wil do (in the worst case), not me :)
