HFS ~ HTTP File Server / upload problems

Again a question about Limits. Someone tried to upload 5 files. Eachone is larger than 2 GB. Because it failed of Browser Limitation he
made a Winrar-Archive with 500 MB Files, created a Folder and started uploading. but at File 11 it stopped. So he tried to upload the other files this morning. But it stopped again. Is there a Folderlimit round about 5 GB?

Is there a filesize limit for Upload? A friend tried to upload a file larger than 2 GB and the upload didn't start. When he zipped it and the Size was less than 2 GB it worked.
While he is uploading i don't see a part file or something. Is that okay or should i see at least the filename?

First i converted the Drive to NTFS. Now Uploading works much faster than before. Moving works fine too, but i always have to use whole Path for example /D:/MP3, even when all Folders are on D. But this doesn't bother me at all. Maybe my problems occured, because i added the whole drive to HFS and thought, that the Permissions are guilty for all Subfolders.

Habe die Platte jetzt zu NTFS konvertiert und zumindest per localhost lief es perfekt.

Now i tried to move a file from the external HD to the internal HD and it works. So i suppose, that there is a Problem because the external HD ist FAT32. I' ll convert it tomorrow and will try again.

Yes, folders are Real.

I have a file myfile.xxx in Folder Downloads and want to Move it die Folder Uploads. I mark that File, press the Move Button and in that Window i type /Uploads.
Tried it with Slash and without. Everytime got Forbidden. All Folders are in external Drive D.

This 2 Users have this Permissions for all Folders.

I only habe 2 accounts on the Server right now. Both have full permissions für Access, Upload and Delete. But when i want to move a file, i get "Forbidden" Message.

Habe jetzt HFS deinstalliert und neu aufgesetzt. Habe dann einmal von zuhause aus einen Upload probiert, welcher abbrach. Auch über Localhost hier brach der Upload ab. Erst als ich einen Ordner auf der normalen HD anlegte, lief alles normal. Irgendwie hapert es wohl an der externen HD. Jemand eine Idee dazu? Hab nämlich nur eine 16 GB Platte im Lappie und müßte eigentlich die externe HD benutzen. Gerade eben habe ich nochmal einen Versuch gestartet und in HFS gesehn, das er für ein 400 MB file über 6 Stunden benötigen soll. Wollte nun den Upload auf die normale HD machen und dann per "Move" verschieben. Erhalte aber dann die Meldung forbidden, obwohl ich eigentlich alle Rechte haben sollte.

Ich hatte die HD mal als Netzwerklaufwerk am Router. Da hieß es zunächst, das die Fat32 formatiert sein muß. Inzwischen ist sie zwar nicht mehr am Router, aber immer noch Fat32. Ob es daran hapert?

Wegen der Speedbegrenzung nutze ich derzeit die neueste Beta. Wenn mein Kumpel mir per VDSL Files uploaden will, stürzt HFS ab. Angeschlossen ist eine externe HD. Kann man in den Optionen vlt. Einsteellungen ändern, die vorteilhaft sein können, wie z.B. Anzahl der Verbindungen von einer Person begrenzen oder sowas? Oder könnte es sein, das die USB-HD nicht schnell genug mit dem Schreiben hinterher kommt? Wäre für jeden Tip dankbar.
