i don't understand, the beta should be much faster :-\

I'm sorry my friend, i believe when i tried the latest beta the first time i must have had both open at the same time and then caused conflicts, and then when changing back between caused some errors so had to set it up again. But i'm not sure exactly why.

I've given the beta version another try just now and loading the vfs file i had saved to make sure it read correctly.

I'm now able to download a file from the server at 2034Kbps (4x previous speed limit) which is AWESOME!!  Thank you Rejetto for bringing us this application!! :D

what version are you using?

hi there,

i am using hfs 2.2f but i have tried to use the beta 283 version but that seemed to lower the speed to around 300-400kbps per download

First of all i want to say what a brilliant program and i have been using it for probably a year now... but my thirst for speed has caught me..

At home i have a 70mbit down/20 up fiber line and at the office i have 300mbit down/up.

When i download a file from my home server at the office the maximum speed is 500kbyte/s
When i open a second download that one also goes to around 500kbyte/s
When i open a third download that one also goes to around 500kbyte/s
When i open a Forth download that one also goes to around 400kbyte/s

The upload should not be a problem. I would like to be able to download per file at my line's full cap at around maybe the 1.8mb/s mark which is what you would expect on a 20mb upload line.

So i can't seem to go above this speed per stream...

I made sure the speed limit setting is disabled

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Josh

EDIT:

Sorry I think there may be some confusion in what i am asking..

I am wondering if there is a way to max out my upload line from my home server.

So instead of when i download a file from my home server at the office the maximum speed is 500kbyte/s it is maybe around 1.7/1.8MB/s?
