well everything is setup and works great, DNS is updating and all is great.. My query is about uploading.

Is there anyway to upload to an 'upload folder' without using the browser interface, and the user manually browsing to a file addinging to the upload list and clicking the upload button? 

I have an excel spreadsheet which contains a small macro to output some of the data to a new file, I then navigate to the file, and 'send to... ' myself via email.  I am thinking it would be WAY easier if i could re-write the macro to create the file then upload it to my uploads folder.

Any thoughts   I have been told by a much more qaulified person than myself that it cant be done

sure you can. if the browser does it, you can do it too.
you have to do exactly what the browser do: an http POST request.
don't ask me how to do it in office macro language, i just don't know.
