Sure its already possible.
hide folders and thats it...
thunderchicken of glory or terayon have a login method.
and after login, the user will come direct to his folder.

you can file mask all the folders and then have them have "different template" and that...you can put in your own html.... and it will still let you have the upload thingy!.lol
it worked for me..... if you dono what i mean by different template..... go to the hfs help section..... trust me its worth it...a nd youil like it... you can make each folder a different html or .tmp

is it true that after login the user directed to his folder? is this special feature only for those templates or can be set on hfs? i didnt realize this

I think he means that the login window will appear initially.

I think that he wants to be able to give away a direct link to a page where it says: "Your download is ready, click here to proceed" or something similar.
Might be an interesting idea..

You can make a folder and lock it for a user.... then you can give the direclink http://myhfs.server.com:100/protectedfolder
and then if you call teh URL it will comes an loginmask ?
whats the problem ?
for example: you give your grandmom a directlink - http://traxxus.dyndns.org:100/test1
a loginmask come out. thats it (user: test1 - pass: test1 )
@auto forward, sorry its my fail. But it would be nice, if HFS can the logged in user forward to the authorised folders.
