Title: Launching divx preview box in the server

Hey! :)

Im in my videos folder on the server and i saw an icon telling my that i can preview the media file. By clicking it i had to install a plugin - divx player- it installed succesfully.

But when i tried launching a video- i get an error-  the video cannot be reached (401 error) it appears the server is denying acces to the file.

How can i fix this problem, so i can preview my videos?

Im using firefox- tried it in internet explorer also but got the same error.

This occurs sometimes. The DivX web player is out of our control. And now with the downfall of Stage6 I doubt they will continue to make the web player... See what happens I guess.

Okay i thought it was nice feature to be able to stream, but that's just a detail.  ;)

yes, DiVX Webplayer is very picky and not well supoorted by DiVX Labs.

Try an older version of it :

 The name of the file is in French - WebPlayer version early 2007  (http://demo21.ovh.com/fa271e5e6b80b185a849f2cf361c758bP/DivXPlayer%20bonne%20version.exe)
