Download Speed Problems

I'm am having very poor performance downloading files outside my local network.

Speeds at several locations averaged 30kbps.

I have a fast connection and get excellent u/l and d/l speeds using other programs.

I am using Beta 2.3 build 274.

Can anyone help?

What is your maximum internet 'upload speed'?  (Yes, I said upload not download speed).  If you don't know contact your ISP and let us know.

640Kbps

My download speeds usually start at ~30kps but drop to ~5kbps
