HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Upload problem in build #186
« on: June 27, 2008, 08:03:58 AM »
what sort of problem can you please be more specific.

62
it would be possible yes, just the only problem is it will require quite a bit of work to recode some of the template.

I have to go to school soon but if I get a chance later ill have a look at it.

63
I imagine you can setup QOS rules depending on which port the packet came from?

set the bit torrent ports to the lowest priority(class E from that link) and set the port hfs uses to the highest priority.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Strange HFS log entries
« on: June 22, 2008, 08:27:31 AM »
the ip belongs to a subdomain of www.as13348.com,

I can only guess that the size is different because they either dont have something cached and need to redownload it or they are getting an error page.

try enabling more info in the log,

right click on log > log what

HTML & templates / Re: A little confusion about the macros...
« on: June 15, 2008, 09:32:32 AM »
unless you specify a static path in the hfs template, the path is relative to the hfs executable.

som in this case the chat.html file is being saved in the same folder as the hfs executable.

HTML & templates / Re: Live 2 (Project Suspended)
« on: June 05, 2008, 06:59:29 AM »
by root, they mean you should add the hfslive folder to the root of the virtual file system in hfs. That just enables hfs to serve the required images and other files for the template over http.

To set hfs to use hfs live you must go menu > edit html template.

in the template editor there is an import button, import the .tpl file that was downloaded along with the hfslive folder(its possibly in the folder) and then click apply.

it should be working fine now.

Edit: just had a look at what you downloaded, you will also have to download live 2.2 to get the .tpl file you need for live 2 local.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: RSS for changes
« on: June 05, 2008, 06:53:57 AM »
you can easily create an rss feed that displays only the items that are marked as new, for either an entire folder or the complete file system by using files.lst or by building it into the template.

for my example though, you will have to copy the below code into notepad and save it as "filelist.tpl" not filelist.tpl.txt. place the file in the same folder as your hfs executable and point your browser to http://localhost:PORT/files.lst

you can easily edit the below code so that it is valid rss. This is just an example of how easy it is, to help you get started.
To understand how the template system works, have a look in the wiki.

%files%
[files]
%list%
[file]
{.if|{.get|is new.}|<item label="%item-name%" url="%folder%%item-url%"/>.}

« on: June 03, 2008, 07:09:08 AM »
like i have all MP3 is folder and added it as real folder in the HFS and can still be able to preview the mp3.

yeah, it should be able to play anything as long as it supports the format and you can download it off of your hfs.

Bug reports / Re: suggestion
« on: May 30, 2008, 06:13:11 AM »
can you please explain your problem with a bit more detail.

hfs supports anything that is client side and can run in a browser, but hfs does not have any effect on these as these are browser based not hfs based.

But now it seems I can't use sort and limit at same time. They work separately but not when applied together.
?sort=t&limit=X

Upd: and in file list limit is always ignored

I didnt know that.
