add hfs.exe to trusted files.

1. open comodo and press the "Defence+" button.
2. then "trusted files" on the left side
3. now click on the "Add" button.
4. have a beer. ;D

still "takes" memory for me. (memory leak?)

minimize the hfs window will fix the problem.
after 1 day it uses about 35-40mb of ram (if i leave it it will go up like that every day and use 3-4-5-600 mb of ram)
so maximize then minimize the window will make the ram usage go down to about 3-4mb ram usage.

you want it to check your ip faster?

or??

as long as your computer is turned on it wont change your ip.
once/day will do.

you shud check if you have a static or a dynamic ip.
if you have a static ip you dont need no-ip/dyndns.

yeah Norton is realy bad.
its very easy to bypass (with trojans , bots and stuff like that)

there is way better antivirusprograms , and that dont use so much cpu/ram.

how much ram memory do you have.
with that many users you need a lot of ram memory.

(skicka ett PM om du vill så kan vi ta det på svenska)

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Is HFS Reliable for Use In Office?
« on: May 16, 2012, 05:47:15 PM »
i would use more RAM.
windows itself needs almost 1.5 gig RAM.
atleast add 2-3 gig and you will get a more stabe and faster "webserver".
if you only have 1.5 gig use windows xp instead , as it only needs about 350mb RAM

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / "stolen links"
« on: May 13, 2012, 06:21:29 AM »
dont know how to explain this , but i'll try.

me : user A
the one copying my links : user B
some one just surfing the web : user C

____________________________________________________
user A has a hfs page with stuff on it.

user B go there and copy some downloadlinks and put on his own web page.

user C visits user B's page and klick download links , but the links points to my page.
user C probebly never notice that he is infact downloading from user A (me)

now to my question.
is there a way to prevent user C to directly download files from me visiting user B's page.

i want it to be like this.
user C clicks on user B's links user C is redirected to my "index page" instead of just downloading the file.

hope you understand what i meen.

Beta / Re: upload log
« on: May 08, 2012, 05:27:45 PM »
yes it is.

best way is to make a new emty folder.
i call mine UPLOADS
then add it to hfs.
then rightclick on it select "properts"
now choose the settings you want for your upload folder.

i use these settings.
access tab - anyone
delete tab - nothing (noone can delete anything)
upload tab - anyone

flags tab - browsable , no download (uncheck the no download if you want people to download the files , (anyone can download all uploaded files))
diff template - nothing
comment - put some info about the upload here
file masks - nothing
other - nothing

after adding a new folder remember to save the hfs filesystem. (.vfs)

make a shortcut to hfs.exe
copy that shortcut into your autostart folder.

simple way to do it.
