Both version 1.6 and 2.0alpha frequently goes down. What may be too many users downloading files. And HFS, with (lots!) error window, "eat" memory. I use HFS for mp3 sharing...

since you are the only one reporting such problem, i guess it depends on your specific situation.
the problem may be an option other people is not using, or maybe your Windows system.

when does it happen?
how often does it happen?

I have mine running 24/7 and on average have 6 gigs downloaded daily from people and have never had this problem

I try both version on w2k and XP, there is same error, i can report it, but it too long. I really dont know why it happened. It reapeted every 3-4 hours I think.

it would be good to see the FIRST error message

if more messages are overlapped, then the first one should be the on the bottom

it is not easy to fix this bug, since i have no way to reproduce it :(
can you try to run it using NOT srvany? a plain run

Ok! I'll be run hfs not as service, if bug in this. Anyway, HFS terminates just one time for 5 days (beta2) - Its much better now :)

Ok. I found where is a problem. Its in "limit speed". While this option disabled, all ok. When limit to 100kbps - i see this error.

there's another way to find this bug and fix it.
you could test old HFS versions, so you can tell me when this problem was introduced, and i can see differences between sources.
was this problem in 1.6 also?

Yes, problem was and in 1.6.
I solve this problem by installing Net Limitter 1.30 and limit speed in this programm. All ok now. But if you solve this bug in HFS, I'll be glad :D
