Title: unicode version chinese template?
Post by: wyf51888 on January 04, 2007, 12:42:19 AM
The 077 unicode version is great. But while editing the template, I can not add any chinese character......as a result, downloaders can not see chinese words except filename.
Certainly, if I delete <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />, filename can not show correctly, either.
Is there a way to fix this?

does it work if you edit the template in an external editor (notepad) and then paste it into HFS ?

Does not work. As showed in picture, it also swallows "0". (I added chinese words between
"<div id=folderstats>%number-folders% folders"
and
",  %number-files% files....")

you could export the template
edit by notepad, and save as new file encoding by UTF-8
then import the template

It could work.

Thank you. After doing this, only a few characters are wrong.
