Upload definite type of files only

Hi,
I want to know how can I allow only definite files like *.jpg & *.txt and nothing else. All other to be rejected from server.
I found only File Filter, that tells what types to display, but still allows to upload all files.

Second, not so imporant
is there a way to hide the icon in the status bar.

select your real folder in the vfs and go to its properties (see image)

menu >> Tray icons >>  Uncheck  the two first lines or only the second

Mars, how to find that uploading menu? Is this for v2.2f (I use that version) or for v2.3?

About second Q, it is not so important but doing that, the program stays in taskbar it is not hodden completely.

What about %progress-files%, is there something similar, but to be able to see all the transferrings that server is doing at the moment not only mine. (to see what is active)

can u explain "input comment on file addition" option
I see that I can add comments no meter of the option

if i remember correctly is to auto-prompt for comment input when you add a file on HFS (not via web).

for files upload filtering you can check the "accept" attribute for the "input" tag. It's an HTML feature, it doesn't rely on HFS, so it doesn't require HFS 2.3 to work, but i doubt it's as effective as the feature mars pointed.
