download @ www.dovedove.it/hfs/hfs143.exe
what's new
+ Menu -> Virtual File System -> "Links before"
- firefox template incompatibility introduced in build #142
- updating failed when the exe name was hfs.new.exe
- ?page was not working
- search is now correctly disabled when "Recursive listing" is
-
rejetto I wrote a request in the previous topic about "up" (back) link for the page where search results are. Always I have "up" link in the menu when I get a folder, but in the page with results, I haven't. Look at the image:
Can you add it in the next build please :-\
-
every browser has a BACK button.
you have a big green button on the upper left.
isn't that enough?

yes man, but why this page hasn't this button and the whole site must have ::) Is this a big problem (to add it)?
-
Your logic is flawed.
The search takes place at the root of the server, there is NOTHING to go UP to. What you want is BACK which is why the big green BACK button is there.

+ Menu -> Virtual File System -> "Links before"
This is possibly a stupid question, but what does 'Links before' do? It's not a very descriptive name at all :S
-
it isn't, yes, but it's exactly as the nearby "Folders before", but for links instead of folders
links are put before files
-
I think there is a bug with search/filter in Internet Explorer, if i run a search for the word 'free' it should return some results, i am shown the nofiles/noresults page. I think it might have something to do with user permissions or recursive... but im unsure, the results are random at best.

{{section|<<name here>>}} doesnt work in ~upload
-
{{section|<<name here>>}} doesn't work in custom embedded pages. e.g [page.htm|nolog]
It also doesn't work in the error pages section. [error-page]

In folder menu, just remove the option "Archivable" for that folder and you can keep the recursive option enabled in the main menu.
And about Alons0's Back-button debate...I'd also like there to be a "Return" or "Back" link there where normally is the "UP" link. I don't like to use the browser buttons.

Bug with sorting while in search mode... In default template also... I see no solution without javascript...

Re:Back Link
I use the "bread crumb trail" feature posted in this forum
by T.S.G. and Giant Eagle in my template. It lists the directory
you are in and and allows you to click back to the folder you
searched from, or up to the top level, etc.
(Many thanks to both for that)
Another option that works is the JS "drop down" menu. It will
go up one level (back), do file list recursive, file list for the
folder you are in, jump directly to a folder, and other things.
Both methods make a back button unnecessary.
Many thanks Rejetto, for the search feature!

try add ~folder.tar?recursive in addres line in browser in folder which have not atribute "Archivable", and You can see that this folder been saved as archiv =(((
ps: sorry for my english
-
no, it says "Unallowed" here.
even if your folder has no archivable attribute, an upper folder may have it.
when you mouse hover it, it says "Archivable [inherited]".
by default, the root is archivable, so everything is archivable.
-
You really right, i checkout archivable from root and all OK.
It was my mistake, i do not look at root before, thx ALL
-
it's contained in the ICS lib
the one containing wsocket

Firefox does not work with #143, still have to remove the 1st line...
edit: Forget about that problem, I consider it to be a SNAFU with a specific machine. Other machine, now works.
-
maybe you are having cache problems.
it works fine here.
-
Firefox works for me with the default template so try checking your cache.
-
hi,
how can i disable this new menu on the top of the page? want the old "login" "upload" "folder archiv" buttons back - dont like the menu...
joerg
-
simplest way I can think of is download build 142 and copy the default template code from that to build 143.
-
you can't disable it.
you can do as foggy says.
