« on: December 15, 2005, 01:40:11 PM »
Hello everyone,

Last time I see a lot of topics/threads about problems or questions about routers.

We love to help you guys, so we want to give you a website so you can get even more help and information about your router:

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

You can search for your router there and get help about open/forward ports and a lot more.

If your internal IP address keep changing, you need to get a static IP address. Use the following link to see how to setup a static IP:

http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

If you still have any problem, post a message and we will try to help you.

Thank you.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Uninstalling problems
« on: December 12, 2005, 11:38:11 AM »
I found three problems with the uninstalling option:

1. I think this is the most important problem.
To make this problem happened, first clean your settings from the registery using Menu -> Save options -> Clear options and quit.
Then, open HFS again and disable the auto-saving option using Menu -> Save options -> Auto-save options on quit.
Now, click on Menu -> Uninstall HFS and while the uninstalling process, HFS will ask you if you want to use the shell context menu. :P

2. HFS will not remove the settings from the registery if you uninstalling and the Auto-save options on quit option is activated.

3. HFS will not remove the HFS.INI file if it's exist.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Context Menu
« on: November 30, 2005, 07:04:46 AM »
I think I found a problem with the context menu.
When you try to add a folder (or a file) not on the same location like hfs.exe and there is no hfs.ini on that locaion, it opens a new process of HFS and not recognizing the open process.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Bug.

Hello Everyone!
phew... long time I didn't post in the forums :P
Well, the problem is: I started my server and enabled the "Use UNICODE in HTML" option because I put some file in Hebrew. Anyway, I clicked the file in my server and I always get the "404 - Not found" page.
Please, check this problem  .
You will see that everything works fine with version 1.6a.
Edit! - I checked the problem with Mozilla Firefox and everything works fine! But the problem still in Internet Explorer.
