cant get the open derect in browser feature to work

cant get the open derect in browser feature to work,
only files standard in this list works, not whin i add new ones

1. that SUGGESTS the browser what to do, as the dialog says

2. you can't specify any file type... if the browser don't know how to manage it, it will probably refuse to do it

3. if there is a case you think should work differently, just report the case right here

weird, cuz i only have added *.gif and *.XML and the web browser know how to open both of tose files

i just tested for GIFs with IE, Opera and Firefox, and they get open directly  without problems.
i guess it is your problem.
