I have the stop spiders disabled.

When I do a test search from http://www.google.com/sitesearch/index.html it doesn't return any results for my HFS site. Will the standard Google spider yield a different result?

Thanks for your assistance.

If you are using one of our templates, ensure that...

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"/>

is either deleted or changed to...

<meta name="robots" content="index,follow"/>

I have it manually disabled by default cause I found the built in method to not work that well with the google bot. It is simply there for our users privacy, it can be edited to allow google at any time, but the majority of users would rather google not list their personal servers.

it may be good to expose via macro the 'stop spiders' setting, so you can make it optional in the template.
do you agree?

Maybe... are you sure you want to create access to so many options in macro?

I guess we just have to be careful not to make macro too messy and un-organised. So far there is good continuity, makes it easy to remember.

If you keep adding access to hfs options with macros our admin panel we will work on after our website will have to be just like the HFS interface to handle all the features ;D

HFS has hundreds options, and (except than account and VFS) less than ten are accessible with {.get.} :)
