Thanks for the replies!  However, i have checked the IP's of the attached devices on my router even before posting here. There are never any local devices connected to my router with that IP.  Hence the "mystery" IP.    I can't ping this IP and it doesn't show up while using ARP from the command line.  Still trying to figure this out

Hello.  I set up HFS earlier last week, and I have a "mystery IP" that keeps contacting my server.  All it does is request the homepage, as if it's checking the status of my server every 5 mins.  For example, in the log it says something like "192.168.1.7:##### Requested GET /", and that happens once about every 5 mins or so.  I do use no-ip.com to keep my dynamic IP up to date, and I have the no-ip client installed on my PC that periodically checks if my dynamic external IP has changed, so could that be causing it?  I don't quite see how it would be though.  Any help here would be appreciated, and I'm currently at a loss where this is coming from.

Hi. For me, HFS isn't saving the file system and settings properly anymore, even though I go through and save the file system then the settings to file, registry (current user), and registry (all users) every time I use HFS, and I also have it set to automatically save the settings.

It seems as if HFS only remembers the settings that I gave it when I first set it up.  The hard drives and folders are there, but the hard drives revert to their original drive letter, and don't retain the name I gave them.  This is true even when I load the file system that I saved.  The folder permissions also revert back to what I originally set them to when I first ran HFS, and I have to re-select my HTML template whenever I start HFS or else it looks all screwed up.

I'd rather not have to go through and change all these settings every time I start HFS... Could someone lead me in the right direction? 

Turns out I needed to run HFS as an administrator, since I placed it in program files.  Got it all resolved now and it works great, thanks

Nice template!! I'm new to HFS and this makes my file server look great.  I do have one problem though.  There doesn't seem to be an upload button or option with your template the way it was downloaded.  How can I enable upload/modify/delete buttons in the template??
