I added  %speed-out%, %speed-in%, %connections% to my template in various locations and it didn't work.  The only thing that was shown was  the symbols text (%speed-out%, %speed-in%, %connections%) but no values for those were shown for those symbols.

are you using beta7? are you sure you didn't mistyped?
i wrote them in the main section and they work for me.

feature request: able to use all html template symbols on all hfs pages (main, upload...) for more useful hfs templates.

it should be possible from beta7
if not, tell me which symbol and which section

I don't see new HTML template symbols %speed-out%, %speed-in%, %connections% in the beta 7 HTML template anywhere like you say in your comment above. Is that the way it should be?

you are free to add them your customized template, but they are not used in the default one.

Using Beta 7 - XP Pro SP1 - Opera

The %speed-in% and %speed-out% symbols aren't working for me.

I included both of those symbols in my template in the main page section to try it out and after downloading and uploading, and refreshed my screen, below is what I see....

Average Upload Speed : 0.00 KB/s <- doesn't change
Averaqe Dowload Speed : 0.00 KB/s <- doesn't change
No. of Connections : 2 <- this works

I would also like to include the %speed-in% symbol in the [upload-success] section and when I do the following is an example of what I see after a successful upload....

ac3filter_0_70b.exe: File Transfer OK --- 295.59 KB --- Average Upload Speed : %speed-in% KB/s

Any ideas?

I think it only works when there are really users downloading er uploading... When there is no activity the speed-in/out will be 000....

On my site it works verry good....

that's because the page is created before it is sent.
when it is created speed is zero, because you are not downloading.
it is right.

Put the tpl file in a zip or rar file etc.  Otherwise can't download.  It just opens the tpl contents on the screen.  Try to make an english version of it if possible.

You don't need that type of auto-save.  Go to Menu/Save File System after you make changes and it's done.
