You have to use ' Save File System ', so the file is saved in the directory of your choice, and the path is in hfs.ini, when "Save Options To File" is actived.

Yes, I already have those options enabled but for some reason it is not working.

OK....Got this one fixed.
Not sure if it is supposed to do this or if it is a bug so let me explain.

I have HFS set to:
"Save options to file"
"Reload on start up VFS file previously opened"
"Auto save VFS on exit"

If i add a file to the list and exit it WILL save it correctly.
My problem was that i also had  "Quit without asking to save"  enabled.
Then it WOULD NOT save the files.

Seems that somehow it interfers with the saving of the VFS file, I thought it would just NOT ask!

when you add a file you have to "save to file system"
"save options" is a different thing
so if you quitted without doing the right "save", it's normal

Rejetto,

The option says "Quit without asking to save"....  ASKING

Not QUIT WITHOUT SAVING...

It implies automatic saving,.

you are right, we need to rephrase it.
indeed, the automatic saving option is the other one, you are using now.
"Force quitting (no save dialogs)" would be better?

Yes, or just QUIT WITHOUT SAVING...

The point is that it WILL save if "autosave vfs on exit" is enabled.
And it won't if that option is disabled.
So "quit without saving" doesn't reflect the real behavior.
The description must be short and easy, but also correct. :)
