Title: how to...upload
Post by: Harley on September 11, 2008, 06:20:36 PM
I have a folder named X for my brother.
Inside the folder named X, I have a folder named UPLOAD FILES HERE.
The folder named X is a REAL FOLDER.
I have saved it so loads everytime HFS is loaded.
I have given it a user name and a password.
HFS is loaded as a system service.
Everything is working fine EXCEPT:
Can you tell me how to only allow UPLOADS in the UPLOAD FILES HERE folder located inside the folder named X?
Once I added the X folder, there was no tree in the HFS window to get me to the UPLOAD FILES HERE folder inside X.
I had to allow uploads for the entire folder. Which means that uploads are allowed and can be placed anywhere
inside the X folder.
I hope you understand what I mean.

Try to post a new topic, when it is a new question ... :)

If I understood correctly, you must:

In HFS:

- VFS -> Right click on X -> Add folder from disk -> Your_folder_for_uploads.

- Select Real folder (Uploads are only allowed in real folders)

Then give the rights to uploading for the accounts of your choice

Right click on Your_folder_for_uploads -> Uploads -> Uploads for...

Thank you very much.
I thought because it was related to folders it was ok to post here.
