Exactly.
It's true. In case you use this software to share music (for example, to listen your music collection (stored in your house) while you're working in the office), you should at least 'password' protect the content to avoid having problems.

I am not sure but some IP from US keeps on viewing my server i am scared at this movement

Hello guy,
i am new to HFS
Before starting off i wanted to ask a question about copyright
Is it legal to share music over HFS ?
I use DNS and send the DNS to my friends who want songs.
Some of them said sharing music is illegal and i may get fined
