Just to let you know, some antivirus are classing your webserver as a malicious site and deny access. (www.dovedove.it)

Dave

When you put malicious warez on it, it is malicious...  ;-)

Just kidding....   Yes some anti-virus programs give a virus warning on hfs.exe,
but as far as i know not on websites running on hfs.

HFS is no malware, websites running on hfs are no malicious sites (or you put some malicious software on it)

It's more then once explained in the forum and even on the HFS website I believe.

So what's the point of putting this up if we cannot download it? The link is 404.

i'm always getting suspended my account because of the antivirus saying that HFS is dangerous.
this story is everlasting.
i'm so pissed off.
fuck you "security" companies.
i'm now waiting for a reply from the suspend-without-giving-a-shit hosting company.

Why don't you ask HFS users to host the file, with several mirrors always easy to download HFS.

I would like to help.

Hi rejetto
First post, thanks for producing this wonderful bit of software !
Sorry to hear what AV companies think of your .exe

A suggestion though, before public (say a week ?) if you submitted a copy to a site like www.virustotal.com
is likely that many of the "positives" would drop off after a week, cause many companies will actually test it :)

Now, I'm pissed off too, I am very happy to share files to the world.
But, my server is not online to be raped :(

So what I want to do is block requests from: Want-Digest

> Want-Digest: SHA512;q=0.9, SHA256;q=0.7, SHA, SHA1;q=0.5, MD5;q=0.3

I already have an idea how it can be done, with a script watching the log, but internal to HFS would be great..

Suggestions ?
I am using 2.2f, is there a change-log somewhere which lists all changes to current beta ??
EDIT: Found nice change log in source code !
Thanks very much
Oxyandy

EDIT only 2 AV companies show a positive as of today
http://r.virscan.org/report/8cf458105f2b3041bea3edc05e18a55b.html
a-squared & ClamAV

EDIT 2
www.virustotal.com 2 reports
Emsisoft    Trojan.Win32.Server-Web.HFS.AMN (A) <---  I contacted them and asked to review :)
ESET-NOD32    a variant of Win32/Server-Web.HFS.A <anyone ?

it's already so, but for official releases. Can't do that for beta versions.

You need HFS 2.3 and a little script to put in events.
Use.the "header" command then disconnect.
It should look like

[Request]
If header want-digest disconnect

I'm  from my phone now.  Find more details I'm the documentation

Thanks rejetto,
Yes, I have been studying hard to understand everything the best I can..
Windows CMD, is no stranger to me, so I am trying to adapt what I know from that to macro

If you read this before my other post (http://www.rejetto.com/forum/hfs-~-http-file-server/events-(request)/msg1057980/#msg1057980),
I want to send a proper server response for {.disconnect.} like {.disconnect|403.}
I want to stop a download manager.

{.disconnect.} is leaving the Download Manager in a "File Temporarily Not Available" state
As a result the Download Manager tries again & again !
Tested on a file which has been flagged "No Download" 403=Deny, the Download Manager actually stops !!
[Solved] 100%

Thank you
Oxyandy

HI Sir,
I have a problem about after update the 284 version.
when I have new incoming traffic, then the HFS will not responding and nothing can press.
I just resume normal the hfs after the download action was completed, but the hfs will does not work after any incoming traffic.

Please advise how to fix the problem, administrator, I have use the program in the past few months, does not observed any issue. It just have the problem  on that month.

Now i just using the stable version for us to keep going. But I feel that the stable version 2.2f's speed was too slow, only have 2XXX KB/s . Otherwise, the beta version 284 have higher than 6XXX kb/s.

I want to fix ASAP.
Thank you .
