Title: How to forward nameservers?
Post by: Hovercat on September 23, 2009, 12:17:16 AM
I have a DNS server set up at www.editdns.com, but I can't forward nameservers or atleast I don't know how to. Please help, I'd rather have a domain than an IP address. :)

Edit:

Please help soon, otherwise they will terminate my account.

i'm not a dns guru, but you should have (or create) an "A" type record, and fill with your IP address, that's 173.2.....etc etc

found this on their forum  http://forums.nerdie.net/showthread.php?t=6

add this line into the custom dns option of hfs

https://dyndns.editdns.net/api/dynLinux.php?p=my_password&r=www.example.com

replace

  'my_password'  by your editdns password

and

'www.example.com'  by your domain name  Hovercat.editdns.net
