the easiest way would be to runn it though wine, though the best way would be if rejetto could port it.
Since my policy is not to ask someone to write code i cant/am to lasy to do, for him to ask the wine devs to look in to the problem is just great!

my personal checklist to never ever go back to windows again

1. get HFS running
2. get cedega (one way or the other), i dont play games on the pc that often, but its just i thing i want to be able to do ones in a while
3. get my firends to go over to linux

i found the program http://dl.qj.net/RSS-XMLister-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/9298/catid/140
Heres a few lines about it, see the bold text, thats why i need the parrent directory

What does it do?

This program generates an XML list of an online directory that can be played through the PSP's 2.6 RSS Channel feature. It's quick and easy to use, it allows complete customization, and also allows you to load/edit existing XML lists, as well.

How does it work?

To create your own RSS channel, just follow these steps:

1. Upload your audio files to your webspace. Make sure you put them into an empty directory, there must be no index.html present.
2. Run RSS XMLister and choose 'Generate a list from an online directory' and input the necesary information.
3. Upload your XML file to your webspace.
4. On your PSP, browse to the XML file you uploaded. Add the channel and enjoy!

I dont remember the name of the program on the fly, but il find it out asap

the "parrent driectory" is what you see on a webserver if you brows it, and there is no index file.
but on HFS if there is no index file, it shows the nifty client side user interface.

« on: November 11, 2006, 06:38:47 PM »
is HFS able to show the parrent directory of the server?

im asking because there is a program that automatically makes RSS files,
i have 4gig of mp3 files on my hfs server, so i just dont have the time to make RSS files for all of them
but this program requires that the server shows the parrent directory of the server, or els its not able to make the rss files

thanks in advance for any help

... HFS gained 4 new awards ...
You deserve it!  8)

BTW, HFS2 is one of the reasons why i'll stay with my XP Pro (dual-boot with edgy 64)

Hi fellow linux user, i dont have linux installed at the moment, one of the reasons for that is HFS :P
Im just wondering, since you also like HFS and have linuz currently installed, if you could check if WINE is able to emulate HFS.

www.winehq.org, i bet you know this allready, but wine is an emulator for windows programs and games.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / feature propusal - ziping files or folders
« on: April 04, 2006, 09:29:47 PM »
is it posible to add a feature that lets you as a user (browsing whit a web browser) have a button that creates a zip (and or rar)file for download?

would be nice to just hit this button on a folder or a file to make it easier to downloade.
