NEW BUILD OUT NOW Thunderchicken of Glory (build 2.6)

Changes:
 - Now supports single player at a time. This prevents a user from streaming multiple songs at once. (Flynsarmy version of this)
 - Added the build number to prevent confusion on the ToG version you are currently using.
 - Mp3 player now has a pause button.
 - Image file sections condensed using [file.EXT = file.EXT0 = file.EXT1 ...]

Was built using LATEST HFS. It is recommended you use the latest version with this template.

Also updated the Orange/Blue with Thumbnail template with the new mp3 player method.

1 known bug with the mp3 stream method, if the filename has a ( ' ) in it, the Stream button will not work. If this is the case the user still has the option to open it in WMP, its an old known problem with js and hfs. Cannot be repaired.

ROFL! i did forget, thx, so much to update with a new release.   

We are debugging the mp3 stream code atm its not 100% perfect yet.

Fysack... ROFL do u mean like a call waiting tune? OH i get it now... lol go to my server.

AAAHH so many users of the ToG that i have exceeded the 4.2mb/hr limit on geocities tonight, either go to my server if it doesn't work there, or wait till the o'clock which is when it should reset lol.

NOW HOSTED ON REJETTO.COM it will always work now... we hope lol.

Yes you can, da3210. I (and i believe TSG also) are huge believers in open source
software and free distribution. We've always done the best we could to provide a top
quality template that is free for use by anyone. You can modify it, you can redistribute it,
you can do wahtever you like wtih it. All we ask is that you acknowledge that the template
is based off ToG by TSG, Ledufe and me.

I have not put the ToG in UTF-8 i have noticed, it is set to iso-8859-1, which is my default because english is my language lol. should i put the ToG as UTF-8, or are people happy to change it to their language?

I currently am running my version of it in UTF-8 as a test.

I cannot decide on this.

Well, as usual with IE6 & 7 there are problems ...
In this case, at:

Img's thumbs don't works. (this bad behaviour is present also in others ToG sites)
With opera and firefox all is OK.

At this point there are some (at least two) considerations to do:

first one ...
a) In my PC's enviroment perhaps I'm very silly and I'm not capable to set IE and his options for work with this powerfull tpl

the second one,
b) it's impossible that in home, in office, in friend's PC home (all with different option's set) don't works. 

So, perhaps, it's better use a "very browser" and not a "middle half browser" like IE.

I fail to see how the thumbnail thing can have problems, it never fails in any browser for me. The only requirement is to have a /thumb folder with the nt.gif image present in it, this sets up the thumbnail section. Put this on the top level of the HFS vfs. I have put all this in the .zip file.

The 'no thumb' image must be the same size or larger than the actual thumbnail images. Currently mine are all 50x50px.

Its really not that hard to get working... is it...

EDIT: Yep i just tested in all of my browsers and EVERYTHING works perfectly. (IE6, IE7, Opera 9.02, FF2.0, FF1.5)

Are these problems only happening when you try to make it a different language? although i cant see how that would happen.



EDIT: I just went to your site da3210, i have a few suggestions, have u tried using a real folder for the thumbnails, /thumb, along with placing a no thumb image in there, nt.gif. I have seen this error before on flynsarmy's server, why is it that it works for some people and not others, its as if the images wont upload... very strange. And it wouldn't be the browser i don't think...


FINAL SOLUTION:
Another reason could be because u limit the max simultaneous connections? I just tested this and it is the case, it has nothing to do with the ToG or the browser, its hfs for that part of it.

The reason for the overlapping and stuff is because the nothumb image doesn't get to load to set up the cell height, this can be overridden using height="50" or the css off height:50px; in the style for a 50x50px thumb.


NEXT RELEASE WILL HAVE THIS REPAIRED FOR 50x50 THUMBS. and a fix in the script for the mp3player.

Sorry but probably will be my problem.

Well new test:

1) Erase all HFS instance
2) Blank folder
3) Install HFS 086 clean
4) Default .tpl it's OK.
5) Inser ToG from (your last version), manteined in english language
6) Import real folder "Thumbs"
7) Make thumbnails (with EasyThumbnails) 50x50 img and tnb attached in this thread
.... in IE don't work also if it's in english lng
9) I don't know why

MAKE SURE U HAVE THE DIRECTORY (/thumb (not /thumbs if you are using the downloaded ToG)) AND THE NO THUMB IMAGE IN IT. (nt.gif)

MAKE SURE YOU FIX THE HEIGHT PROBLEM.

ALLOW MORE SIMULTANEOUS CONNECTIONS/ IP (if u limit them).

CROSS YOUR FINGERS.

IT SHOULD BE WORKING.

Directory is already /thumb (before I've reported it bad)

I confirm in my environment don't works with IE.

Perhaps will be a diff between english and italian version of IE

For now it will better testing in a my local environment.
