I know for a fact that FiOs blocks port 80. don't waste your time.

Not anymore. Port 80 is opened is many places with Fios (I guess everywhere, but I can't confirm).

I used to have HFS setup for port 8080, but now 80 is working just fine.

I can also confirm that port 80 has been unblocked on my FIOS line.
