HFS ~ HTTP File Server / [REQ] Create folder for log files

I use a day logfile in this format Logs\%d%-%m%-%y%.txt
I want to set the log to something like this:
Logs\%m%-%y%\%d%-%m%-%y%.txt
So i have a folder for each month.

Bug reports / Logon fail from intranet when using the PC name

Thats happening here I enter with something like:
http://server
I see the index, but when I try to log in it shows me
http://backup/~login and error that the page cant be found.
If I hit refresh I enter with that user and all works OK.
I have no problems when I use the IP or the domain.

Thats it, Im not always in front hfs and would be nice to be able to create users from something like an admin panel (i read something about this in the to do list) but I'll like that special feature there.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Log failed logins

now when a user try one or 2 times to log with a inexistent user or wrong password I dont get nothing in the log.
I will like to have somethig like:
-time "login attemp" IP User.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Trouble to download xls

I have an strange problem, i can download JPG, TXT, AVI, but i cant download a XLS, when i click the download button to select to where I want to download, that window closes. With the other files i try i dont have problems. I have nothing installed there, clean windows98+hfs.
Any idea what can be the problem?

EDIT: i look at the status in hfs and it says:
10:33:28 a.m. someone@200.*.*.*:1472 Fully downloaded - 21,00 KB @ 16 KB/s - /SAN MIGUEL/LISTADOS RESUMEN/LRS0207.xls
but i didnt select the place to save, so...i dont have the file

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Cant download files

I have 10 folders (with subfolders), each one with user and pass, i can login, view the files but cant download them, the "download" dialog appears, but when I pres Open or Download it close and nothing happends, any idea of what can be the problem?

edit: One user can download files, but i have 2 that cant, they have an error like "cant be downloaded" (is my translation to english from spanish). Any idea what can be happening here?
