Pensavo che vista la -enorme- quantità di themes che si sta producendo, che la sezione themes dovrebbe essere distinta rispetto a user made, e integrare anche una preview e qualche info in più rispetto a come è ora.
E magari anche un qualcosa per votare e il count dei download
E' + motivante, secondo me, e anche carino )

I think that on the right of the address bar (or on the left), you can add this button:
1°: Browse (the same as "Browse it" menu item)

so it's more user friendly.


remember, it's only a SFR!

I add folder "X", with subfolder "Y" and "Z", autoupdate: NO
in VFS dialog I see this:
/
+-X (italic) ([X] Hide)
..+-Y (italic) ([ ] Hide)
..+-Z (italic) ([ ] Hide)

I think that the folder X is hidden. Well, it's.
Than I think that also the folders Y and Z are hidden. I load http://url/X/, and the folders Y and Z appear.
Uhm...
I left click on Y, I see that the "Hide" flag isn't setted (eg: [ ] Hide). I right click on "Hide", and I see that now the "Hide" flag is setted (eg: [X] Hide).
The Y folder is now in italic (it was in italic). But now it's hidden when I browse http://url/X/
The same for other folders and files.

And... if I add some files under "X" hidden folder (i've tested by left click menu from VFS dialog), they will be displayed in italic style, but the "Hide" flag will not be flagged (eg: [ ] Hide) and the files will be visible.



I hide folder "X" with some subfolders, and i set to Auto Update it, it's the same of the other example, but I cannot manually set Hidden the other folders.



I suggest to you this:
The flag Hide (and the italic style) is setted on every file that is REALLY hidden, but you can add in left-click menu a new command: "Hide Recursive", that set Hidden flag (and style) to all File/Folders in that dir (and in that auto update dir).
So if you set manually the hidden flag, you can select only the files/dir that you want hide.
The italic style must be fixed.

I think that a pwd protected file/folder must be marked as... bold? In Virtual File System window. Or with an "*" on the right or left...

the "realm" param of the WWW-Authenticate token can include the "Comment" (if any) of that authenticated folder.

like Apache autoindex module...
every file has: name, size, description and lastmod time. Icons aren't necessary...
If you want to add "sorting by" support, I think that it's a great feature.

io sono obbligato a fornirti la licenza, non a forzarti a scaricarla
la licenza è ben evidente all'inizio della pagina

cmq ho aggiunto la voce nel menù per la licenza, per la faq e per il forum

) eheh ben! Anche xchè se si distribuisce solo l'exe (magari passandoselo tra amici) è difficile che si vada a cercare la licenza... così secondo me è meglio

Per fixare il prob del license.txt, io farei un bottone magari nel dialog dell'about, che apre la licenza in un textbox parecchio ampio, tipo quelli che contengono i termini di licenza negli installer delle applicazioni.

Ricordo la prima volta che ho usato HFS, ci son stato un po a trovare il modo di aggiungere files... il drag&drop lo uso praticamente nulla.
I miei suggerimenti sono:
- 1° metodo alternativo di add file:
Esplora risorse: CTRL-C (su files o cartelle)
HFS: CTRL-V (aggiunge alla lista)

- 2° metodo alternativo di add file:
clik destro su un ramo di directory virtuale o direttamente nel panel "Virtual File System", nel contestuale una voce "Add file or directory" con la solita schermatina di "Open" che ti fa scegliere un file da aggiungere.

In più nel menu insieme a official website e about, metterei una voce "Support" che punta al forum, direttamente.
