Title: Rejetto, Please help.
Post by: selkov on July 30, 2008, 01:22:07 PM
I have already started a topic on this issue a long time ago.
I have tried many things but can not get it to work.
If you can help me figure this out it would be great.

I have HFS installed to the "H\" drive.
All functions work correctly except the "Add To HFS" option in the shell menu.
This is due to a program called "FireDaemoPro" wich I use to run HFS as a service.
If I start HFS manual the add to HFS works fine, if i use FD it does not.
When i choose that option I receive a "Monolib error: access is denied".

I have included a picture of FD's set up screen.

And here is a link to the original post if you care to review it: http://www.rejetto.com/forum/index.php?topic=5701.msg1034153#msg1034153

It would be awesome if you could solve this for me!

Thanks for the program and all your time to produce it!,

if the problem is the different user under which HFS is running, then you can try configuring firedeamon to use your own usual account,
or you can also try to modify the "add to hfs" in the registry to use the "runas" command.
command line: runas /?

This computer has only one account on it, administrator.
But just in case, can you be more specific on how to :
"modify the "add to hfs" in the registry to use the "runas" command.
command line: runas /?"

Tks

some accounts are special and you don't see them.
services normally run under "SYSTEM" account.
the first thing to do is
try configuring firedeamon to use your own usual account
that is "administrator", for the HFS service

That makes sense.

Would the runas/ part of the HFS command lie or the firedaemon command line?

you won't need the runas command if you configure fireD

I found it!

thanks.

Needed to use the "log on" option in FD.

All works good now.
