router & port problems / HFS stopped working after move
« on: October 23, 2016, 11:55:56 PM »
We just moved to a new house across town and setup our computers in exactly the same configuration we had them in at the old place -- same router, same network, different ISP -- and now HFS doesn't work.  In other words, the ports are still forwarded exactly as before, but now HFS fails the self-test.  What am I missing?

router & port problems / New router woes
« on: March 24, 2015, 05:55:02 PM »
I just bought a new ASUS RT-N66U router, forwarded all the right ports and verified that they're open on "CanYouSeeMe.org," but for some reason HFS still can't pass the self test?  Is there something else I should be doing to get this particular router working with HFS?  Nothing else on my system has changed.

Thanks.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Possible to send message to user?
« on: January 19, 2015, 12:11:43 AM »
Just wondering if there's any way to, say, click on a user IP address and send that user a message.  And if not, is this a feature that could be added in the future?

RAWR-Designs / How to start Terayon with main panel only?
« on: November 30, 2014, 11:21:58 PM »
The first thing I do when I load HFS is click the minus sign below the main banner to hide the entire right column (containing the panels titled "Check for Updates," Folder Options," "Server Traffic," etc.).  How can I make HFS (specifically, the Terayon template) start with those items hidden by default?  I'm sure it's a matter of tweaking some minor snippet of code, but I can't figure it out.  Thanks to anyone who can help me.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Internal IP address keeps changing
« on: May 29, 2014, 04:50:39 AM »
Whenever I reboot, the internal IP address for HFS is different.  Sometimes it's 192.168.0.101, sometimes 192.168.0.102, sometimes 192.168.0.104, etc.  And whenever it changes, the self-test fails and HFS obviously doesn't work.  How can I make the internal IP address permanent?  Editing the INI file doesn't seem to help.

Right now it looks like the files must be selected individually.
