@XCanG: It would be better if you ZIP all your HFS folder and upload it here, so we can analyse your current configuration. You don't need to share your current VFS file or any of your private files, only make a different separate folder, and configure everything exactly the same way as you have in your current HFS folder. Recreate all the settings you have in your actual HFS folder, and then share it here, please.

HEVC is a codec (also known as H.265, and is the successor of the popular H.264) and MKV is a video container, the same way an AVI can be the container of a DivX or XviD encoded video (DivX/XviD is a codec too). Files encoded with H265 are very small, but needs a powerful machine to play them.

Hola Mariano, bienvenido al foro. Es una idea genial que yo siempre tuve ganas de hacer, pero nunca tuve el tiempo suficiente como para ponerme a hacerlo. Seria una buena idea si Rejetto agregase soporte multilenguaje a HFS.

Rejetto utiliza el "Turbo Delphi 2006 Explorer Edition", sino me equivoco exactamente la versión 10.0.2558.35231 (o sea que utiliza la última actualización disponible para esa edición), aunque se puede utilizar Delphi 7 sin problemas. Ahora no tengo una computadora libre como para hacer pruebas, sino te ayudaría un poco más. En este hilo puedes encontrar más información (en inglés).

Sería bueno si escribieras aquí los errores que te saltan, asi podremos intentar ayudarte (yo o cualquiera del foro). Por lo general, si entiendes ingles, vas a conseguir más ayuda si publicas tus preguntas en inglés, porque aqui casi no hay usuarios activos de habla hispana (los que hay, hace mucho que no visitan el foro).

Si metes mano al asunto, seria bueno hacerlo bien. Y una buena forma sería ayudando a Rejetto a agregar soporte multilenguaje. Yo hace un tiempo atrás me encontré con este proyecto: "Kryvich's Delphi Localizer", el cual sería un componente ideal para agregar oficialmente a HFS, ya que es muy liviano (solo agrega ~14Kb al ejecutable), y permite hacer una traducción total en forma sencilla. Según esa página, sólo basta con agregar estas dos líneas para empezar a utilizar este componente:

La versión que habría que utilizar es ésta: "Kryvich's Delphi Localizer 3.2 (April 29, 2008)", ya que es la última versión en soportar Delphi 5/6/7, Delphi 2006/2007 y Turbo Delphi (Explorer and Professional). Las versiones subsiguientes: 4.0 y 4.1, no funcionan con Turbo Delphi (ya que son para versiones nuevas de Delphi), asi que habría que utilizar la v3.2.

Sería bueno si contactas directamente con Rejetto (escribíendole un mensaje privado en inglés o un email), para que el agregue este componente a HFS, asi luego podríamos comenzar la traducción. Tendrías que ayudarle a él, diciéndole en que parte poner el código, asi lo tiene fácil (el no tiene mucho tiempo libre, ya que hace esto como hobbie). Yo luego te ayudaría en lo que haga falta para traducir HFS al español, no tengo problemas.

I'm aware of the "BugMeNot" service (it has help me in the past, when I've found some website were registration was closed or just to post only one post), but you are welcome to register your own username and be part of this forum community.

Some time ago, anyone here could reply and open threads as "Guest" (without having to register), by simply choosing a temporal nickname. See some examples here, and here. So, even if there are a lot of spammers today, IMHO there is nothing to panic, since any moderator/admin can delete those threads, posts and even accounts. And not everyone is a spammer...

Thank you. This happened to some other user in the past, as you can read here. Usually ISP caches files from HTTP links, but not from HTTPS (SSL). This explains why a file hosted on Google Drive (hosted on HTTPS), get download "cleanly" on your side. You can read an explanation on how ISP caches files, here.

Don't worry, I personally understand what you write. But this is a problem for those who need to use Google Translator (I'm not referring to Rejetto since he knows English), but there are russians, germans and chinese in this forum who need to use a translator, and they can't get the translation done properly. May be you should use some extension for your browser, that lets you automatically correct any typos fast and easy.

Sadly, this Build #268 is not hosted on SourceForge. There is a big 'gap' of builds missing there, between 2009 (v2.2f Build 155) and 2014 (v2.3 Build 288). I guess Build #268 was released approximately in August/September 2010. If we had the source code of #267, #268 & #269, we could try to find the changes, but they are unavailable to download.

I did a deep search, and I found that someone reported this, back in 2011 (here) and you reported this on 2014 (here), but since Rejetto doesn't have a chinese system to test this, it's hard for him to fix this issue.

LOL, that surely was the problem!

i recommend ditalg signing, but that won't stop AV from detecting it as a "virus / risk ware" ... i know many site and bad programs that are digitaly signed, but they are still  bad progrmas and scammers... digtal signing just means you took the time to give the program your "contact" information...

in the long run it not necsay....

Thanks for the info, so Digital Signing is useless for this problem.

Hi, and welcome!

1) If you manually start HFS, does it work fine?...
2) Try to run HFS from a folder without spaces in folder's name.
Example: C:\Server\HFS.exe (instead of C:\My super server\Program\HFS.exe)

Sometimes things gets broken if a folder has spaces.
By the way, what operating system are you using?

StrokesPlus is new for me. I'll install it, and try to reproduce your error (if I have time this weekend). Anyway, perhaps other forum members can help you more, with another ideas.
