Thanks again Tcube.

router & port problems / Re: port forwarding with phone adapter- VOiP
« on: January 31, 2007, 07:22:15 PM »
Well not sure, but i have also phone with by cabel provider only i also use a router ot forward a port and for my other server. In that router i use portforwarding and everything works fine. maybe it is your dmz server in your modem/router, put it off or check if your firewall doesn ' t fuck around with your connection. Also do not forget to use the right internal IP, because i know people that know exactly waht they are doing but from one moment nothing works anymore, and they forget to see if the ip has been changed.

Good luck, this is all i can say..........

Hmz i have a linksys also but no problems here. Just configure a port and do not forget to save,
To get into your router typ in explorer or any other browser http://192.168.1.1. then look for applications&gaming and do not forget to set the protocol to BOTH. at the end fill in the internal ip and save ( below the page )

Good luck and i hope it works now.

router & port problems / Re: Exception

Don't want to interrupt, but maybe your pc has got an other internal IP adres, so your router does not reconize your pc?

On the other hand if you have an exception, maybe you can make a new HFS server from the beginning so you are sure it is not the server that is fucked up ;)

Hmz it is my first time here but what i have read sofar about your connection problems............. hmz.
Nobody asked you if you have a router, if so you have to forward a public port. Do not forget to give the whole ip including that port to your friends. something like http://123.456.78.9:18456

Maybe you have a modem with an inbuild router, then you have to do the same into your modem.
I do not know if i may tell you a website where you can see how to forward a port at what modem or router............... if i know that i will tell.

Good luck, because running HFS is wonderfull, espacialy with the new template ;)
