That doesn't remove the actual functionality itself, anyone who knows the function exists can just type the page directly in the URL. Also I'm pretty sure there's an option in the administrator console to easily disable account deletion but I must ask: why would you want to do that? I think that users who create their accounts should be able to delete them.

FHFS isn't a replacement to HFS and it doesn't serve the same purpose. You can't use FHFS to manually add files to random directories and expect them to show up; it's meant as a portable SkyDrive type of product where any organization can easily set up a structured account-based file hosting website for all of its members, HFS is a bit more customizable because it's meant for more of a personal level and requires more management.

Yeah you definitely can't run FHFS and HFS or anything else at the same time if they're running on the same port. If FHFS and HFS are set to run on different ports then it *should* work.

Sorry, there's no way to do that. URLs are hard links to files in the VFS. You could just manually rename files you don't want downloaded anymore or reset their shared ID.

Not sure why I never ended up making that a configurable option, I guess I forgot about it. 40MB was just the default I used for my website.

Is anything appearing in the log in the main HFS window?

Also try using another browser or going to http://localhost/

Wait wait wait.... you said IE says '404 page not found'? In that case it would seem as if IE connected to FHFS just fine but FHFS is having an internal error. Does the 404 page look like an FHFS page? Maybe a screenshot.

Well.... first click on the HFS icon in the system tray and verify that the server is actually switched to on.

If it is, the only thing I can think of after that is a firewall issue. Try disabling windows firewall or anything else you're running and then let me know if it works. If the firewall is the problem, you can probably set up special rules to allow FHFS to run.

FHFS already has that meta tag in all pages, but it's not there to support international characters.

HFS itself doesn't support Unicode, and there's no way around it.

Not sure why that would fix the issue, but if it does then go into the file "configure-stunnel.tpl" and make your change there too. That's the template that's used to rebuild the stunnel configuration when FHFS starts.
