Hello folks,
I'm running HFS on a nice computer. I'm currently serving files to about 200 friends aboard the same ship as me. I've seen constant speeds of around 200Mbits, and some as high as 600 Mbps. After a few minutes of anything over 150 Mbps, with a lot of connections, HFS locks up. If I turn the server button on HFS off, then on again, this seems to temporarily fix the problem.

Any ideas on what might be wrong, or where I can start looking?

It appears that "Self Test" is only for files that are being hosted on the internet. These files are only being hosted locally on a LAN.

During a "lock up" the program continues transfers that were going before the lockup, but users don't get a webpage to look at to browse for new downloads. I can't browse the program either. I know it's still transferring from the windows network load monitor.

thanks, drew

no idea, but you may try to workaround it with an automatic switch on/off every hour, or so

Menu / other options / Edit event script
paste this

[every 1 hour]
{.stop server.}
{.start server.}
